this one is a painting with guache on paper, it's not finished and it never will be :)

this is freakin' awesome!! color use is amazing..just all around great painting.

i haven't worked with guache yet...what's it like? is it similar to acrylic?

yeah working with guache is similar to acrilic, but it doesn't cover as good as acrilic and you are unable to paint larger ,clear ,flat surfaces of color. But you don't have to work as quick as with A.
But I don't know much about acrilics I just tryed to paint with them very few times and I realy can't paint with them well. Personaly I like painting with oils, but it isn't good to breed terpentine vapour and as I paint in my room and I also sleep in it it's realy not very good. Nowadays I paint mostly on PC but I'm looking forward to paint something in classical media when I have free time :)
